Our hummingbirds sure showed up over the past few weeks and today (Thursday, November 20, 2025) we were able to deliver almost 60 bars of The Giving Soap to the Women’s Interval Home (WIH) of Sarnia-Lambton. That’s FIFTEEN pounds of soap, my friends – unreal!
Since 1997, the WIH has played an important role in our community providing shelter, counselling, and support groups to women and children affected by domestic violence. Our donation was met with great appreciation as the need continues to grow. In fact, earlier this month, Ontario officially declared intimate partner violence an epidemic which means it is a persistent, systemic issue that demands long-term, coordinated action.
This soap has created a pathway for connection that we never expected. We’ve loved the stories, laughs and even tears these connections have prompted and are grateful for the generosity of our fellow hummingbirds. Thank you!!
