Turning Up for Local

R&R Self-Care was proud to be among 10 local businesses featured in the curated gift boxes distributed by Imperial Oil during this year’s annual maintenance turnaround this Fall.

This initiative was a tremendous undertaking that required months of planning and preparation to ensure a successful launch. For us, that translated into:

• 240 pounds of soap

• 40 litres of olive oil

• 25 litres of castor oil

• 75 pounds of coconut oil

Jennifer and her mom, Linda, also spent hours at our dining room table, labelling and packing the soap.

We know turnarounds are hard work, so we were beyond thrilled to see the local product boxes so well-received by the employees and their families. We have met so many awesome people recently because they recognize us from the Fresh or Clarifying soap they received in their box. Thank you for your commitment to our community and working safe!

Finally, we want to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Kristina Zimmer. While Kristina is too modest to take credit for this amazing initiative, it was her vision, creativity, attention to detail and sincere love of our community that made this a reality. We are lucky to count her and the mighty team of administrative assistants among our most favourite hummingbirds.
